Advertising food & drink photography

With the FIFA World Cup approaching, I was asked to create a set of still life food and drink photography for Coca-Cola. The breif entailed product photography for a seasonal advertising campaign incorporating food recipes that would accompany the drinks products - just think of all the things you love to eat and drink whilst watching an exciting game of footy.

The style was quite simple with the focus on the food and, of course, refreshing look of ice-cold Coca-Cola. The recipes were created in the studio kitchen; then prepared and styled by a home economist to get the desired look for each dish. The lighting was simple with an emphasis on the bottles, being sure to capture the water droplets which is important in creating that refreshing coke look.

All the images were taken at exactly the same angle with the same lighting, and the same wooden background, just the food and positioning of products changed. 

You'll notice that there are no props, nor references to football in these shots which is deliberate - these high-quality advertising product shots were to be accompanied by text and other graphics which would be unique to each promotional campaign.
