Advertising food photography - London resturants
…..complete some advertising food photography for new south London restaurant Fancy Funkin Chicken in Brixton. The restaurant serves delicious free range chicken including burgers, cocktails and drinks. The brief was to capture a few advertising lifestyle packshots using the decor available in the restaurant, including the rustic wood tabletops and the brick wall surfaces. The overall look is a classic lifestyle advertising image

London Christmas Lights - Location videography
all my work is shot in the studio and a large portion is however i also photograph on location and this weeks blog is something different from the normal studio blog as I was asked to create both video and still photography for the company that make the Christmas lights on regent street in London. The lights on regent street are some of the best in London and probably the country.

I'm really excited about this week's blog as it features, for the first time, food & drink! Working with experienced food stylist Lauren Becker, the aim was to produce striking imagery of misshapen fruit and veg for online ethical editorial platform, Futurefrock.

Introducing the new luxury watch brand, Illirio, designing and producing quality watches with a classic style, requiring premium packshot photography. As the client is based in central Euroupe, the products were sent to the South London studio along with a loose brief to produce high quality packhots and a creative still life shot for use on website landing pages.

Beautiful diamonds, precious metals and eye-catching designs are what Hatton Garden jewellery designer Sarah Ho is known for. When asked to shoot her latest Numerati collection, and working within the theme of simplicity and elegance, I decided to make the main focus the diamonds and precious metals in this collection of rings, earrings and pendants, I've also included a few examples of the jewellery packshots on white and, in a later post, I'll showcase them on models.

Cosmetic brand Illamasqua approached me to produce some original creative product photography for their latest new product launch, the Lip Lure collection. As a brand they have an exciting and strong identity so I was delighted to be involved in delivering some unique creative still life photography and videography.

A strong collaborative approach to the art direction, with a few Pinterest boards and a strong concept, resulted in a set of creative still life photography suitable for printing in the House of Fraser Beauty Guide.

The new London photography studio is complete and the studio space is now available for large scale fashion shoots with models, art directors, stylists along with anyone else who wants to attend! The studio is also suitable for advertising, still life, jewellery, packshots - a variety of creative product photography, large or small.

As a fan of gadgets and mobile accessories i was pleased when brand Olixar approached me for some creative product photography for their website and other promotional material. The request was for a set of bold, colourful and impactive advertising product photography. I wanted to show the quality of the products and give them a premium feel, and where appropriate, would also create "lifestyle" still life images showing the products in use.

Getting the chance to create still life product photography from beginning of an idea all the way through to completion is a pleasure, especially when you can see the success and growth of a brand or company. It's great to be able to carry over the creative direction from the still life product photography to the packshot photography. For this shoot the colour pallet was bright and impactive and the theme was cymk. The bright colours and style was to remain the same for both the advertising and the packshot photography.
Fashion Lookbook Photography
It's London fashion week and designers are getting inspired to create or complete next season's looks. As the new lines are being finalised, the requirement for new look book and editorial fashion photography is pivotal to the success of the brand. In a previous role as fashion photography manager at Selfridges I was privileged to work and collaborate with some fantastic names within the fashion industry.

This week i wish to show case some of the test work i have done for a jewellery client. I really enjoy creating bespoke creative jewellery photography and take satisfaction in photographing the best collections including all packshots for all the new products.
